Welcome to the Menomonie High School

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Menomonie High School, I am pleased to welcome you to the MHS website. MHS serves students grades 9-12 and has a student population of approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a rich history of excellence in academics, extra-curricular activities and community service. The faculty prides themselves on providing educational experiences that will prepare our students in becoming college and/or career ready.

MHS is working hard to operate within our Professional Learning Community.  When addressing student learning, we will always look to four critical questions:

  1. What is it that we want students to know and be able to do?
  2. How will we know whether students know and can do it?
  3. What intervention will we provide to students who do not demonstrate proficiency?
  4. What enrichment will we provide to students who demonstrate proficiency?

MHS is a dynamic learning environment where all students can and will learn. We ask that students take responsibility for their learning as our faculty teaches with passion, consistency and diligence. We ask our parents to stay involved in their child’s educational experience at MHS. Each member of the MHS faculty and staff welcomes your questions to ensure the success of your child.

Once again, welcome to Menomonie High School! GO MUSTANGS!
