Welcome To the Menomonie High School Website!
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Menomonie High School, I am pleased to welcome you to the MHS website! MHS serves students in grades 9-12 and has a student population of approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a rich history of excellence in academics, extracurricular activities and community service. The staff members of MHS pride themselves on providing educational experiences that will assist our students in becoming college and/or career ready.
Menomonie High School will be undergoing many positive changes this year including the start of a traditional seven-period day, an introduction of a new Mascot, the continuation of our Virtual School offerings, the creation of an Alternative High School and an expansion of our offering through our new association with Northern Lights. Northern Lights is a group of schools, including MHS for the first time this year, that work together to make academic offerings available in our building through a connected distance learning lab.
Finally, while several things are changing at Menomonie High School, we continue to have a wonderfully dedicated staff to guide our students to their highest level of student achievement. For this reason, I am immensely fortunate and grateful. I look forward to seeing everyone in the coming weeks and remain open and available to answer questions or concerns from parents and/or students as we move forward.
