MHS Announcements - Tuesday, March 5, 2024 

 

*Attention all Winter sports athletes and any other students who have anything in the boys and girls athletic locker room, everything must be cleaned out of the locker room by this Friday at 5:00 pm. Anything that is left behind will be gone when you return from Spring break. 

*This Wednesday during study hall, a rock band from the United States Army will be performing in the auditorium.  This performance is open to all MHS students.  If you would like to attend, first check in to your study hall for attendance, then proceed to the auditorium.   Along with providing an entertaining program, this is also a recruitment opportunity for the US Armed Forces.  MHS students will enjoy and appreciate the program performed by these soldiers.

*Today is the last day we will be having the book drive for Educators Rising. Thank you to all of those who have contributed! There are still some good prizes to be won. Hope to see you today at lunch!

*The HOSA blood drive is coming up on Friday, March 22 if you are interested in giving blood please see Mrs. Allenstein or a poster around the school to sign up.  We could use your help to save lives! 

 

*SAGA is meeting Wednesday during study hall in room 258. All are welcome. Please see Ms. Truitt or Mr. Collins with any questions. Look forward to seeing you there. 

 

*Any Juniors interested in helping to plan Prom and join the Prom Committee, please join us for our meeting during Study Hall Wednesday, in the tiered lecture hall.

 

*Want to learn to fly? Aviation is a growing industry with MANY opportunities available. Both pilots and mechanics are in high demand. Gibson Aviation Services in Menomonie will be here Thursday during study hall to share information about aviation and scholarships available. See you in Room 160.

*Craving some organic coffee from Guatemala? Or even some hot cocoa from Ghana? Tuesday through Friday this week Spanish Club will be selling these organic products during both A and B lunches! Bring some cash and show support!

*There will be a football meeting for all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors on March 6th (Wednesday) in the band room during study hall.
