*Congratulations to Adaline Collingsworth for receiving a silver at Regional Competition for FCCLA on Wednesday at Stout Adi competed in the "Say Yes to FCS" event.


*Hey seniors - please check your emails for the google form from the grad committee.  All entries are due today.

 

*Attention spring sports athletes?anyone interested in baseball, softball, boys golf, boys tennis, girls soccer or track and field there is a mandatory spring sports meeting on Monday, February 26.  ImPACT testing is available starting at 4:00 until 5:30 in room 154.  Registration help is also available from 5:00 to 5:30 followed by an athletic code meeting in the auditorium at 6:00 pm.  Immediately following that meeting the parents and athletes will break out into meetings with the coaches.

*Attention 9th and 10th grade female students,

Are you interested in a STEM/Engineering Career? If so, WIN Technology and Chippewa Valley Technical College are excited to announce that registration is open for the third annual Imagine Summit! The Imagine Summit is a free, interactive, half-day event intended to introduce 7th to 10th grade girls to STEM and STEM-related careers. Students will spend the day participating in hands-on workshops about coding, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, career pathways, the challenges of women in STEM and more!  The summit will be Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 9:45am-1:30pm  at CVTC Business Education Center (620 W. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire, WI 54701) If you are interested contact Mrs. Zydowsky and or Mr. Sterry to reserve your spot.

 

*Dunn County 4-H would like to invite all youth to join the Dunn County Photography Club.  The club teaches the basics of photography and leads "Photo Walks" around the county where youth can try out their skills.  It meets once a month either at the Dunn County Government Center (3001 US Hwy 12, Menomonie, WI) or at various "Photo Walk" locations around the county.  Follow the web address to fill out the form If you are interested in joining us at our next meeting on March 18th.  It will be held at 6pm in room 60 of the Dunn County Government Center.

*MHS is excited to announce that the Wisconsin Leadership Seminar (WILS) will again be holding its annual leadership development opportunity for outstanding high school sophomores from across Wisconsin on June 14-16, 2024. This event is a 3 day conference, in person, at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI.  The seminar will be based on the 4 pillars of: RESPONSIBILITY, SERVICE, INCLUSIVENESS, and DECISION MAKING.  If you are interested, please complete the google form that was posted in your google classroom.  See Mrs.Hundt with any additional questions-


*Just a reminder there is Speed Training on Monday Mornings at 6:45.  Please see Coach Jochimsen if you have any questions. 


*Are you interested in some Mustang Strength & Speed gear?  Our annual Lift-a-Thon fundraiser is just over a week away.  If you are interested in Lifting and/or collecting donations please come see Mr. Jochimsen for details. 



Today's Events:


*Girls Basketball is hosting River Falls for a Regional game tip off at 7 pm.  Doors open at 6:00 for spectators all tickets are $6 and no passes are accepted.


Tomorrow's Events:


*Science Olympiad is hosting the Regional Championships

*Forensics is at Sub Districts in Baldwin

*Boys Hockey is traveling to Somerset for the Sectional Final game vs River Falls.  The puck drops at 1:00 pm.  Tickets are still available via Ticket Spicket - Somerset using the Menomonie School code PUCK until 4 PM today.    Tickets are $7 for all adults & students and  $1 for ages 6 and under.  Any leftover tickets will be available at the door.  Doors open for spectators at 12:15
