Class of 2027(Juniors only), your ACT day is coming up on March 10th. Here is the information for how the day will look:
Student Checklist - What to Bring on Test Day
- Fully charged chromebook
- Approved calculator (click here)
- Phone and smart watch turned in to room supervisor
- Snacks/water for break (kept outside of testing room)
- We will provide pencils and scratch paper
- Timing will be on individual computers as well as wall mounted clock in classroom.
- Proctors will keep additional time on stopwatch as backup
Student Conduct
Students cannot bring bags, backpacks, purses, etc. into the testing room
Students MUST leave cell phones and smart watches on designated desk/table in testing room - powered off.
- Failure to comply can result in test security breach - jeopardizing results for all in the room.
- Cell phones and smart watches cannot be touched during entire test window - including breaks.
Schedule for the day:
7:15 a.m. – Staff members at front and bus doors taking attendance as students enter building
7:15 - 8:00 a.m. – Students eat breakfast snack in commons
7:30 a.m. – Staff report to Tiered Lecture Hall for briefing and to pick up materials
8:00 a.m. - Students begin going to assigned rooms and checking in
8:15 - 8:30 a.m. – PA announcement to begin test directions
*Must begin testing by 9:00 a.m.!

8:40 - 9:25 (45 min.) - Test 1: English
9:30 - 10:30 (60 min.) - Test 2: Mathematics
10:30 - 10:45 (15 min.) - Break
10:55 - 11:30 (35 min.) - Test 3: Reading
11:35 - 12:10 (35 min.) - Test 4: Science
12:10 - 12:15 (5 min.) - Break
12:20 - 1:00 (40 min.) - Test 5: Writing Test
