PREREQUISITE: Physical Science, Biology, and Algebra I
Students explore space science, targeting both biology and physics through space related themes. Topics include astronomy, space flight, rocket design, gravitation, microgravity, biomechanics and physiology. Students will be exposed to a historical overview of astronomy and space science, and explore current events. The content will be delivered in a strong hands-on, project-oriented manner that fosters high level critical thinking skills by students.
