Searching Tips and Tricks:
1.  Think about what kinds of information you need to find.  What is your thesis?  Do you need primary or secondary sources or both?
2.  Brainstorm search terms.  Are there other words with the same meaning you can try? Start broad and narrow down your search.
3. When searching databases, be sure to click on "Full Text" to get results that have a complete article.  You may also need to click on "Scholarly" or "Peer Reviewed," depending on your assignment.
 4. Use quotation marks "" when you want to search for 2 or more words next to each other.  Use an asterick* after the root of a word to search for different variations (help* will bring you help, helps, helper, helping)
 5.  Ask the library staff for help if you are having trouble finding articles!
