| Searching Tips and Tricks: | ||
| 1. Think about what kinds of information you need to find. What is your thesis? Do you need primary or secondary sources or both? | ||
| 2. Brainstorm search terms. Are there other words with the same meaning you can try? Start broad and narrow down your search. | ||
| 3. When searching databases, be sure to click on "Full Text" to get results that have a complete article. You may also need to click on "Scholarly" or "Peer Reviewed," depending on your assignment. | ||
| 4. Use quotation marks "" when you want to search for 2 or more words next to each other. Use an asterick* after the root of a word to search for different variations (help* will bring you help, helps, helper, helping) | ||
