The High School Science Olympiad team finished their invitational section of the season on Saturday with a 1st place finish at the Thornapple Kellog Science Olympiad Invitational in Michigan. The team finished 1 point ahead of Northridge, Indiana and 4 points ahead of Grand Rapids Christian, Michigan while competing in a field of 31 teams. The Maroon team finished top 4 in 14 events while the White team finished top 6 in six events. The White team finished 8th overall. The Anatomy & Physiology teams were able to finish first and second during the competition. Earning top 4 for the Maroon team were:
