Menomonie High School’s own experienced 18 days in Europe this June! Beth Buckmaster-Dulon, along with chaperones Lavonne Solem and Stephanie Taylor, took 25 German students on an unforgettable trip to Germany, Austria, Lichtenstein and Switzerland. Students experienced a 5-day host family stay in Fulda, took a bicycle tour through the bustling city of Munich, toured through an Austrian salt mine, took a breathtaking hike through the Alps in Switzerland, and much more! The German language and culture surrounded the students as they shopped in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (one of Germany’s oldest medieval cities), took the U-Bahn (the subway in Munich) as well as ordered ice cream! It was a truly amazing experience for everyone!
